Review: Shock comedy side (zipper and hair gel scene), intentional unpolitically right time (humor at the expense of the disabled, animal cruelty), the most surprising thing about this film that has a heart, and it's pretty sweet. It's not entirely unpleasant, cruel comedy you might expect. There is a beautiful love story here. Its corny and clichéd, and does not feel too sticky, because there are a lot of shockingly funny moments to compensate. Acting is good, brisk pacing and jokes, well ... you've heard the best of today. |
