Review: This is one of those movies that is somewhat amusing after the first viewing, but it's easy to forget there is no substance to the second viewing can be enjoyed. The plot is convoluted as I do not know what the main characters are doing or why. In fact, we know of four magicians revealed in the first 10 minutes of the film, followed by a NULL character development! The whole movie seems to have been made solely for the purpose to complete, yet it is so cliche? I actually was a little angry because of the way I do it. Its unfortunate that the filmmakers tried to be clever they ignore the most basic elements of storytelling: plot and character.Like Magic without magic show, will find some fun, but inevitably end up disappointed in the end because they left out the most important part of the show. |
