Review: Brilliant acting, superb written and as one would expect from a picture by Martin Scorsese, this is a masterclass craft.Showy directing where it should be, but also quiet and contemplative. The Wolf of Wall Street is on par with something like a good guy or even more Casino, but set in the world of finance. Costumes may be more expensive, but the people who wear them just as they are sick and violent mass street counterparts. Cynical humor and persistent in showing the depravity of character, marks a bit of a different approach to the stock-trading world of Oliver Stones Wall Street.Where Stone seems more in line with Bertold Brecht, who regard the theater (or in this case, movies) moral agency, not Scorsese took the position of the observer dark side everywhere from the United States and in many cases humans dream.Leonard DiCaprio gives another stellar performance while the high intensity and tragedy of this tale of corruption, greed and self-righteousness unfolds.Its vast panorama shows how over the last 25 -30 years gullibility and our innate greed makes us all accomplices in this endless pyramid scheme is far from reality.One can almost hear the background Scorsese scholars came forward again, depending on which one is not without sin, and that we all susceptible to corruption.It is our decision on which side we choose to live that makes the difference. For individual companies, but also as a whole.
