Review: I saw this movie at a private preview screening Pittsburg on 05/16/07. I went with five other friends. The whole group were male, 20 years, and most college athletes. I explain the demographic of myself and my peers why I was the only one who came away from the film completely satisfied. The story was fresh and different and I do not think my friends had the capacity to fully enjoy what was going on screen. I did. And I'm still trying to fully understand what an accomplishment it is. Let me try Coens explain.The film begins with a voice over on a barren Texas landscape, a very simple way Blood began. In fact, there are more similarities between the two films, a promising music missing. A reviewer, whose name escapes me once said that the Coen Bro. movie looks good and sounds better. Ill be read later, but to talk about the look ... Besides some CGI animals that really shocked me in such an otherwise perfect film, every frame is filled with such interesting material tone is set perfectly as how watch scene, you know, wait for a laugh or band that ... Most of what you fill these frames are great performances. Perfect cast is Tommy Lee Jones. He nails IT, the audience goes wild, etc. .. thats expected though.
