Review: 8 Mile tells the story of a white boy on the wrong side of the tracks who lives in Detroit with a dead mother and a trailer park. Basically waiting rid of the shackles of reality in his life through poetry and passion and rawness of rap, the only place you could possibly get a sense of purpose and hear his own voice. Of course it is no secret that this story is very parallel to the roots of Eminem and his own ambitions. Where is clearly fiction and reality collide and works for the photo. First, I think Curtis Hanson did a great job of rebuilding the world and myself rookie protect their lead. He understood the material and I was surrounded in the world, which has created. Furthermore, if the film lends itself to up the ante of the image and makes you feel the authenticity of a world and myself a place where many of us have never traveled and never will. As for Eminem himself, at first I found it a bit stoic, but given the fact that this type has never acted before, no matter how it may be autobiographical material, I think he did a decent job on the front camera. Hanson was careful to protect their lead with great support work Mekhi Phifer, and almost any other accounts to your friends and colleagues in the film. Eminem apparently was a bit green around these actors gave the film more credibility and travel Eminem. Brittany Murphy was also very good, but I felt that his character is very appropriate. Now, I feel this film did not get to the top ... First, when Kim Basinger was the first screen and opened his mouth, I thought the rest of the film is doomed to failure. Not only was weak on paper, it was grossly miscast. There are so many actors in this age seems amazing that Basinger was used for something which stood out like a fish out of water. The film also I almost missed the first because of the length of the first scene in the bathroom when is Eminem himself psychologically. Location of the scene was not a problem, but it was too long - I would have prepared an edited version below. If you're watching Robert DeNiro while looking in a mirror, it will probably work, but put that kind of pressure on a first timer without exercise, mainly because soon followed by the first stage Basinger was a risky move and one that I think you could have found a better option. The other thing that kept this movie from being a film completely safe for me was the same script. I kept wondering why the hell finding Scott Silver had some of these unnecessary scenes in history. It was a good story to tell here, and a world to explore the general public do not know that much of it, and the script and the film could and should it was a good 25 minutes shorter and narrower. Anyway, still a great movie. And interesting vision of a different side of life, and m'encomano Eminem to take the risk. Its very biting and half the country is dying for the opportunity that decimated. If nothing else, this film is worth the last five minutes. When there was fighting, I began loudly cheered and applauded at the theater - no matter what their position when acting in its domain, which is fantastic if you like hes the words or not. In 7 out of 10 for a movie that was actually worth spending a budget. Not perfect, but definitely some good times with her. When they are good they are very good.
