Review: Released a few short weeks after September 11, Zoolander has become the target of this tirade is why they hate us. I did not see until months later and immediately recognized what I can only hope that I'll have to see if I was watching it earlier - that this is satire / farce top. There arent many movies that manage to be both funny and smart at the same time, and this is one. It's not just sending-up the model and fashion industry, obviously an easy target, but the image-obsessed culture is all commodifies love, spirituality, patriotism, courage just as easily and unthinkingly body I made this kitchen appliances. This is not a silly movie, even if it is a fool and stupid situations. Keep its target for satire within his sights at all times, never let it out flag concentrate plots maudlin, but at the same time, he is unfailingly hilarious, and wonderful acting funny before-gags, lie, and costumes. The screen is just packed with visual jokes in almost every moment. This is not a movie that anyone should be embarrassed to watch or enjoy. But it's also fun just doomed! |
