Review: Beautiful yet sad prequel to The Wizard of Oz, which not only interfere with the scenario figures, but questionable view of the people behind the scenes filming. Consequences of CGI and good characters by which the effects are good, but they are not strong enough to hide the real problems. Movies by numbers script so that you twist and ends in five minutes in the movie you can imagine. Sequels are usually predictable, because it is set before the events of the previous film, but this film just any originality to not have it and was just lazy in his plan. The script is not the only problem here, some of the casting is excluded by a large margin, too. James Franco was not the first actor to be considered for the character Oscar Diggs game, but you can have one better actors playing the role of the judiciary could be done before you can ever think of Franco in the role, and he did not disappointment in evidence as he miscast. Franco scary, so terrible that it detracts from the movie. He certainly does not care about its performance, and it shows. Franco tramp as if he was above the material and the actors around him, when in fact, its performance is worse than the script of this film. Making his character so unlikable that you really do not want to watch or take care of it. While Franco in his own little world, Mila Kunis just looks lost in her performance. It's not likely, as the Wicked Witch of the West, and he's just perceived as easy compared to her sister play Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams are both much better actors than this film deserves. Weiss in particular gives the best performance films, because they will make at least one attempt with a lazy script it should work, and just have fun with it. Her character is a typical Disney villain, but Weiszs skilled hands, it is becoming more and translate it to the screen. You will be swept off their feet by Weiszs enthusiasm for her role as spectator and the film is better because of it. Williams does the same, leaving her sweet tooth character is a joy to watch as well and brings a real sincerity as God sent, because as insincere Franco his.It beautiful film and CGI does not give you a headache, but other things and the efforts of Weiss and Williams, the film has too many strikes against him with the script and miscasting Franco and Kunis. |
